Supporting Breastfeeding with Craniosacral Therapy with Kate Rosati

Breastfeeding is important for both mother and baby. The long-term health benefits associated with breastfeeding are widely recognized. Although one of the most natural ways of feeding a baby, it can be a shock when breastfeeding becomes a challenge. This in turn can affect how the early days and months of a new baby’s life are seen. This workshop will look at how birth impacts the baby’s ability to feed effectively, discussing how modes of delivery and pain relief affect the baby, how to recognize that the baby is finding milk transfer difficult and signs to look for which indicate the baby is using compensatory ways to feed and how Craniosacral Therapy may support the baby with these issues. Kate is a Midwife, Lactation Consultant and Craniosacral Therapist.
